However I can network 4 computers (including 1 Mac) a file server, printer and CD burner. Call me then. :-)

Maybe it's the COBOL that's tripping you up? My better half can practically hold a conversation in assembler language but guess who sets up all the electronics in the house?SDOC Publishing Internet Solutionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041229381529252700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8410149219983195338.post-79494346528121370192012-02-17T15:28:19.865-05:002012-02-17T15:28:19.865-05:00Now can you SIMPLIFY all of my remote controls??? ...Now can you SIMPLIFY all of my remote controls??? I bought a "hightech" Logitech remote control from Costco. Uploaded all of the configuration via USB based on model numbers, etc. (The one I bought only handles 5 devices, and I needed one for 6...) But STILL it's not perfect. As I'm an ex COBOL programmer and application techie, I can handle that. But if it hiccups, my better half is not trained in debugging methodologies and is not a happy camper. Of course, I want a "cheap & cheerful" solution. Not going to go to a completely integrated home-wide wireless solution...Joe Seconderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16130137634385579597noreply@blogger.com
